The Department of Transportation and Works is reminding travelers that the restrictions in place for ferry crossings remain in place for the Easter weekend.
People who attempt to board the ferry to visit family and friends will be turned away. Passengers will continue to be restricted to essential travel only.
Government has already reduced the number of passengers per trip by 50 per cent to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and passengers can still remain in their vehicles during the trip.
