Premier Dwight Balls says the government is working on a plan when it comes to utilities in the household.
He is aware that people are home more, meaning more lights, technology and heat are leading to a spike in utility costs.
Ball says in other provinces, bills have not been deferred but he has been working alongside Finance Minister Tom Osborne and Natural Resources Minister Siobhan Coady to figure out a plan.
They are looking at all the options right now to help families and businesses.
