The City of St. John’s has begun linking a couple of roads off Torbay Road to reduce congestion in the area.
The city is going to extend Hebron Way to Major’s Path, connecting Carolyn Drive to Hebron Way northbound only. A roundabout will be installed at the intersection of Hebron Way and Major’s Path and sidewalks and multi-purpose trail will be added.
The traffic impact in the early-going will be minimal, however once the work moves to Major’s Path, a traffic advisory will be posted on the city’s website.

The intersection at Torbay Road and Major’s Path is one of the most dangerous in the city with several Outer Ring connections close by.
The project should be completed by the fall.
