End Homelessness St. John’s has received close to one-million dollars to support a pandemic response for the homeless-serving sector.

In mid-March the organization, who has just become an independent non-profit organization in the province, benefited from funding announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau through the Reaching Home fund.

The local organization has been working with partners to ensure people in need of shelter during this time are supported with medical supports, accommodations and staff.

They have also launched a new where people can access information and forms. The page will be available to people who work with individuals or families experiencing homelessness.
