Paradise residents taking their recycling in this morning were met with hours-long lineups.

Some took to social media to express their frustration with the delay and the hundreds of vehicles waiting and idling.

The Town of Paradise is staggering their recycling weekly with two areas being collected each Tuesday at the Double Ice Complex.

Pictures on Facebook show routes around the area lined up and blocking lanes.

The Town of Paradise posted on social media that they are currently experiencing a high volume at the recycling drop-off and that crews are monitoring the situation.
