The crash of a snowmobile near Forteau, Labrador could lead to possible impaired driving charges against a 37-year-old man from that community.
RCMP received a call around 9:00 p.m. Saturday indicating that a snowmachine had crashed near First Pond in Forteau and that the driver had been taken to the local health centre for treatment.
He was arrested for impaired driving, and police are awaiting the results of blood samples to determine if charges will be laid.
