The suspension of work on the West White Rose project for the remainder of the year is not good news for the province, but Premier Dwight Ball remains hopeful things will turn around.
He says the province remains uniquely positioned, and he’s optimistic the province will be ready to continue oil production when we come out on the other side of the current health crisis.
