A 27-year-old man from Bishop’s Falls is facing a charge of assault with a weapon following an alleged case of road rage in Central Newfoundland.
RCMP were called by a man on Saturday morning after he was allegedly struck by another man with a baseball bat.
Police say the incident appears to have evolved after one man cut off another on the highway. The two men had pulled over onto the side of the road when the alleged assault occurred.
The accused has been released from custody pending a court appearance on November 18.
