A 23-year-old man was charged in Corner Brook Friday evening for a crime he allegedly committed in January.

A business on Mount Bernard Avenue in Corner Brook was the scene of a theft on January 5, 2020. Two suspects fled the scene on foot at the time and one suspect was charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and released for court.

RNC in Corner Brook located a second suspect in the matter, a 23-year-old Corner Brook man. He was charged with one count of theft and breach of probation.

The man was released to appear in court at a later date.

Police say the property stolen in the theft was not recovered.
