A plan on the lifting of certain public health restrictions will be announced tomorrow – with no new confirmed cases reported in the province again today.
The total number of cases in the province is 258. 225 people have recovered.
Four people are in hospital, two of whom are in ICU. Three people have died, and 8,220 people have been tested.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says we have weathered the first wave of the virus, but concerns remain about a second wave, which has already been experienced in other jurisdictions.
Premier Dwight Ball says the plan will be announced tomorrow.
He says some very slight changes will be introduced, a cautious approach he says that will lay the foundation of how we live with COVID-19 in our midst until a vaccine is found.
