The House of Assembly will open next Tuesday for a single session to deal with urgent business.
A minimum number of members, decided on by government and the opposition, will be required in order to carry out government business. Those members will be seated in such a way as to ensure physical distancing.
As was the case early in the pandemic when the Legislature met to pass government’s Interim Supply Bill, Question Period and other routine business will be waived.
