The easing of some restrictions related to COVID-19 is not meant to be a free-for-all.
As of Thursday, Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald allowed people to extend their bubble to another household, but any other contacts outside those two households is not yet permitted.
Health Minister John Haggie says that’s to allow families with close contacts to extend that protective bubble.
It is not meant to encourage large family gatherings, cabin get-togethers or other social activities.
