The Snowbirds have postponed their flyover of St. John’s until at least tomorrow, due to poor weather conditions.
The visit is part of their cross-country tour, dubbed “Operation Inspiration.” Initially, they planned to visit the island Monday afternoon, but the team issued a tweet this morning stating that they are holding at CFB Greenwood, in Nova Scotia, for 24 hours—hoping to approach in better conditions.

The Snowbirds are bringing their signature nine-jet formation to cities across the country to show support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting in Nova Scotia, they will work their way over cities in Eastern Canada before heading west across the country over the next week or so.
Updates and tour locations are being posted on the CF Snowbirds’ social media feeds.
