A 37-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving following a hit and run in St. John’s early this morning.
Police were called to the west end of the city just before 2:30 a.m. A short while later police located and arrested the suspect.
She has been charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and was issued tickets for having no insurance and an expired registration.
There were no injuries.
