The Alert Level system government has put in place to slowly reopen the province is a fluid document, says the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says changes are possible based on the evidence and information the public health department receives.

She says public health can’t know how every business or activity can be run so they’re open to discussion, reviewing evidence and making changes and recommendations as needed.

There are some things public health will take a hard stance on, she says, but they’re always open to reviewing information.
