A local writer has been chosen to appear on a nationally sponsored show this afternoon.
Newfoundland writer, Tom Moore, will be on “Canada Performs” at around 3:30 p.m.
The show is sponsored by the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. It promotes artists whose work was sidelined due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moore will be reading from his novel, “The Sign on My Father’s House,” which just won the Margaret Duley Award for fiction and other awards. Award presentations were cancelled due to the pandemic.
The broadcast will be available through Facebook Live on Tom Moore’s page.
