The Royal St. John’s Regatta Hall of Fame grows today with three inductions.

The 1985 Outer Cove/Regatta Ford intermediate crew, former Regatta Committee member Frank Dinn, and long-time Regatta participant Graham Roche.

The induction ceremony takes place during a luncheon at City Hall today.

Meanwhile, residents of St. John’s are watching the skies, thinking about the weather Regatta Day, next Wednesday.

Neal says the forecast models are not very accurate yet as we are still too far away, but the early forecast models are not looking great for the big day.

He is forecasting a cloudy, cool day with temperatures only in the mid teens.

Neal says there is also the possibility of some scattered showers throughout the day as well, but again it is too early to say for sure.
