Bay St. George RCMP are investigating an unusual theft from the Canadian Tire in Stephenville.
Someone cut through the fence outside the store and removed two kayaks, valued at approximately $1,500 in total.
Police received the call on Saturday, June 6th.
The kayaks are described as an orange/red Pelican Venture 100 and a blue Pelican Pulfe.
It’s not the first such theft from the Canadian Tire in Stephenville. Three kayaks were removed from the yard in 2017, while another kayak theft occurred there in 2015.
