The Anglican Parish of Saint Mary the Virgin is warning their email list recipients of a recent scam.

The church says parishioners have received an email asking them to donate gift cards. The email is fraudulent.

It’s not the first time the parish’s email has been hacked. It happened before Christmas, but the church says it was able to warn people in advance.

They are recommending that people delete the email, and refer to their website for all information related to the parish.
