Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle head-on collision that forced the temporary closure of the Heart’s Content Barrens yesterday.
The occupants had to be extricated by firefighters using the Jaws of Life.
All three people were taken to Carbonear General Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are looking for witnesses of the collision. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
