A man from St. Anthony has been sentenced in connection with a series of break and enters on the Northern Peninsula, over the period of about a year and a half.
In Corner Brook Provincial Court, 44-year-old Scott Saunders was found guilty on a list of charges including break and enter, theft and breaches.
RCMP say the crimes were committed in the areas of St. Anthony and Main Brook between November 2017 and May, this year.
In sentencing, Saunders was handed over 20 months jail time, followed by two years probation, and he was ordered to pay restitution of $15,000.
