The RNC is seeking CCTV or dashcam footage following an incident of apparent road rage in the capital city, Thursday night.
Officers responded to a report of an assault on Columbus Drive at about 10:30 p.m.
A man and woman were reportedly followed by another vehicle after they slowed down for a pothole in the area of Thorburn Road at Mount Scio. According to statements, they were pursued to the intersection of Columbus Drive and Wishingwell Road, when a man emerged from a red Toyota sedan and assaulted the young man sitting in the passenger seat of the car.
The assailant then returned to the suspect vehicle and left the area.
The man is described as 5’6″ to 5’8″ with a slender build, and about 25 years old. He had light brown hair with tattoos on his right arm.
