The Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador is advising the public of what to expect when arriving at court, as work on the backlog of court matters resumes.
They are asking those who have returned from out of province in the last 14 days, anyone with symptoms of COVID-19, or anyone who has been exposed to a person who has tested positive for the virus, to refrain from going to the facility. They are also asking people to confirm their new court date on the court docket in advance.
Before being granted access to the building, the public will be required to answer a COVID-19 questionnaire. Anyone who does not have a mask will be provided a disposable one. Physical distancing must be maintained.
