If the weather forecast holds up, Regatta Roulette may not be a risky venture this year.

The Weather Network predicts sunny skies and temperatures in the high teens. The winds are also a big factor in making the call on whether the event goes ahead but the highest gusts, at least for the first half of the day, will be only 21 km/h.

The committee gathers at the Boathouse at 5:00 with the Go/No Go coming usually by 5:30 or so. VOCM News will be going live with the announcement.

Meanwhile, the Regatta Committee will cut the ribbon to officially open the new Winner’s Circle on the west side of the Boathouse.

The ceremony is set for 12:00.
