Craigmillar Avenue remains closed to traffic as police continue to process the scene of what they are now calling a suspicious death.

Nearby an SUV, driver-side door open, sits askew against the sidewalk.
Police, responding to incoming calls at about 4 a.m., located a man who was deceased.
Police then issued a warning for residents to shelter in place due to a developing situation. All warnings and cautions remain in place at this hour.
Investigators are working with the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death. Operational Patrol Services and Forensic Identification will remain in the area to secure the scene and canvass the neighborhood.
The RNC is asking people for CCTV or dash cam footage in the area prior to their arrival. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers 1-888-222-8477.
