There will be movement later this month on the location for the new Mews Centre in St. John’s.

At last night’s council meeting, Councillor Jamie Korab announced that city council should have a recommendation before them on a preferred location for the new facility at their next meeting in two weeks’ time.

There have been two main ideas proposed for the new development: The gravel parking lot directly across the street from the current centre, and the soccer pitch at Mundy Pond Park.

Public engagement sessions were held on the matter last week.
