One person is dead and two people have been rescued after a helicopter crashed on Thorburn Lake Monday afternoon.
RCMP have confirmed that three people were on board the helicopter when it crashed shortly before 4 p.m.
The Halifax Joint Rescue Coordination Centre say the two people were rescued and transported to emergency services.
RCMP and the local fire department have responded. A Canadian Armed Forces Search and Rescue CH-149 Cormorant helicopter from Gander was also deployed to Thorburn Lake.
