Due to extremely high water temperatures and low water levels in some areas, DFO is placing restrictions on several Salmon rivers in zone 11.
Effective as of sunset tonight, angling will only be permitted from one hour before sunrise until 10 a.m. each morning in areas 117 to 120.
Those areas are:
Long Reach Brook, East Bay
Allen’s Cove Brook, Facheau Bay
Bottom Brook, Facheau Bay
Hare Bay Rivers, Southwest Coast.
DFO says rivers will reopen as conditions improve.
