The City of Corner Brook is advising residents and businesses of an emergency water outage and road closure expected to last six to eight hours.
The areas affected are Pike’s Avenue, Bay of Islands Yacht Club, Connors Road and Bartlett’s Avenue at numbers 13, 17 and 19.
In conjunction with the repairs, Pike’s Avenue and Bartlett’s Avenue with be closed, motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
The water distribution system is in need of repair which began around 9:30 a.m..
