A 45-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an ongoing investigation at Cowperthwaite Court in St. John’s.
At 2:30 p.m. on Friday, police received reports that a wanted person, Paul Hennebury, was the lone occupant of a residence in the area.
Police contained the residence and asked the public to stay away from the area.
Officers did not perceive a threat to the public.
Around midnight, Hennebury left the home and surrendered himself to the police. He was arrested on a warrant and has been held to appear in court.
Additional charges are pending in relation to the incident.
Police are asking anyone with information, including CCTV, dash cam or cell phone footage, to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
