A Canada Post Truck was destroyed by fire near Quidi Vidi Lake earlier this morning.
Crews responded to the area of Forest Road, near Hampton Terrace Condominiums just after 11:00 a.m.
The front end of the truck was completely engulfed in flames when crews arrived. They quickly got the blaze under control.
The driver of the vehicle, who was on a delivery route at the time, escaped unharmed.
A Canada post employee on the scene says all parcels that were damaged in the blaze were being tracked on a scanner, and all those affected will be notified.
