Fire crews made quick work of a garage fire in the centre of the city last evening.
Firefighters were called to Connors Avenue shortly before 7:45 p.m. and arrived to find a garage full of thick smoke.
Crews used an attack line to quickly bring the fire under control. The garage door was removed, and a truck inside was able to be moved out, but not before it was heavily damaged.
The garage also suffered extensive fire and smoke damage.
No one was inside the structure at the time, and no injuries were reported.
