Health authorities in the province continue to scale back services in light of the current COVID outbreak and the move to Alert Level 5.
As of today, all four are reducing the number of elective and non-urgent matters, instead, focusing on the most serious or urgent cases.
Eastern Health says if your appointment is going ahead you will be contacted by staff, and patients whose appointments are postponed will be contacted with a new date.
There’s also a new temporary phone number for anyone with questions about their appointments. That number is 752-4500, or toll-free 1-833-752-4500.
Meanwhile, Labrador-Grenfell Health is also reducing services for at least the next two weeks. But they say services for cancer patients, mental health and addictions, and any other urgent care will still be provided.
A more detailed breakdown of the services affected at each of the regional health authorities can be found on their websites.
