Vaccines will be offered in the Western Health region starting today for area residents 85 and older.

Vaccinations will be provided in Port Saunders, Norris Point, Deer Lake, Corner Brook, Stephenville, Port aux Basques, and Burgeo, with more communities to be added as the rollout continues.

Vaccinations are available by appointment only to those who have pre-registered for the vaccine.

Vaccines for people 85 and older will begin in the Central Health region tomorrow in Buchans, Baie Verte, Harbour Breton, Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, Lewisporte, Botwood, Springdale, Brookfield, Twillingate, and Fogo.
