Charges have been laid against a Corner Brook company in relation to a workplace injury in March of 2020.
Johnson’s Construction has been charged under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, after a worker suffered injuries at a bridge construction site at Dick’s Brook two years ago.
The company is facing four charges including failing to ensure that workers, particularly supervisors, were familiar with the hazards, failing to immediately notify the assistant deputy minister of Digital Government and Service NL once an injury accident occurred.
The company’s first appearance is set for April 5 in Corner Brook provincial court.
