Businesses in the area of the Churchill Park Music Festival are gearing up for what will be a busy couple of weekends.

Tens of thousands will be filling the park this weekend and next weekend for concerts headlined by stars Nickelback, Pitbull and Shania Twain.

Big Ben’s Pub in Churchill Square is one of many watering holes expected to be packed with festival goers having a few drinks before or after the show.

Owner/operator Ashley Ellis says they’re looking forward to the rush of business, especially from visitors from beyond the overpass.

She says they enjoy the Churchill Park Music Festival because of the new people they get meet. Ellis calls the atmosphere in Churchill Square unlike anything else as the energy is high with music filling the area.
