The RNC has arrested a teen in connection with an offence involving weapons at a St. John’s school.
Police were called to the area around 9:00 this morning, and officers determined that the student in question had an airsoft handgun.
Macdonald Drive Junior High issued a “secure school” advisory to parents this morning to allow officers to search the school.
A 15-year-old is facing two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of carrying a concealed weapon and careless use of a firearm.
The accused was held pending a court appearance. The investigation is ongoing.
