Premier Dwight Ball says he received a call from Opposition Leader Ches Crosbie soon after the election, congratulating him on the election results.
Ches Crosbie came out publicly this week offering his apologies for an election night speech that raised eyebrows after he vowed to take down the Liberal minority government.
Ball says Crosbie acknowledged that he did not want to see another provincial election anytime soon.
He says Crosbie indicated he was willing to work with all 40 elected members of the House of Assembly and was committed to working in a collaborative way for the benefit of the entire province.
