Repairs are ongoing on the Legionnaire which was damaged in an incident at Portugal Cove May 16.
The Department of Transportation says the undertow caught the vessel and moved it away from the dock, causing damage to the ramp.
The vessel is due back in service by the middle of next week.
An investigation into the incident is underway and officials expect to know more about the cost of the work in the coming days.
