Things are looking up, way up, for Beaumont the osprey.
Newfoundand Power’s Osprey NestCam shows that Beaumont’s mate has laid an egg and more are expected.
Last year was a heart-breaker for observers of the birds of prey. He lost his mate mid-way through the year, and it was too late in the season for a brood before he found another mate.
The ospreys, which are nesting high atop a pole near their Virgnia Waters substation on Snow’s Lane in the capital city’s east end can be safely followed online.
🦅We have an egg! With any luck, Beaumont's mate will lay another egg or two in the next few days. Check out our live Osprey NestCAM: https://t.co/MZDj1VUQUg pic.twitter.com/u0VIO0gLv8
