Things are looking up, way up, for Beaumont the osprey.
Newfoundand Power’s Osprey NestCam shows that Beaumont’s mate has laid an egg and more are expected.
Last year was a heart-breaker for observers of the birds of prey. He lost his mate mid-way through the year, and it was too late in the season for a brood before he found another mate.
The ospreys, which are nesting high atop a pole near their Virgnia Waters substation on Snow’s Lane in the capital city’s east end can be safely followed online.
We have an egg! With any luck, Beaumont's mate will lay another egg or two in the next few days. Check out our live Osprey NestCAM: https://t.co/MZDj1VUQUg pic.twitter.com/u0VIO0gLv8
