Snow and cool spring temperatures have forced the delayed opening of two provincial parks.
The opening of Pistolet Bay on the tip of the Northern Peninsula has been delayed until June 7th, while the opening of Pinware River Provincial Park is delayed until June 14th.
It’s not the first time both parks have seen delayed openings due to lingering snow and winter weather. The parks also saw delayed openings in 2017, 2008 and 2007.
