Local writer, actor and producer, Sheilagh Guy Murphy has been named as the winner of the Writers Union of Canada’s short prose competition for 2019.

Guy Murphy’s title – Lost: My Immortal Soul, was selected for first place from over 500 entries across the country.

It’s the first time an author from this province has won the award.
