The Mayor of Toledo is ready to make good on a challenge given to him by St. John’s Mayor Danny Breen.

Wade Kapszukiewicz says he’s ready to sing O Canada as soon as he gets his hands on a Growlers flag, which was part of the deal struck with Mayor Breen.

In the meantime, he gave VOCM News a taste of what’s to come, when Linda Swain spoke with him, as well as Breen:

Kapsukiewicz congratulated the Growlers for the win and thanked the Walleye for a well-fought challenge.

The Growlers victory parade will wind it’s way through St. John’s tomorrow.
