A pair of kayakers were plucked from the ocean near Doyles on the province’s west coast after running into trouble yesterday.
The kayakers had capsized and then drifted apart. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre says the two were unable to swim back to shore.
JRCC in Halifax coordinated the rescue involving a National Surveillance Patrol aircraft and a local vessel that was on the scene.
