The site selection process is still underway for the new Mews Centre.

The old indoor pool and recreation facility in the Mundy Pond area is showing its age and the city is planning an updated facility that will rival, albeit on a smaller scale, the Paul Reynolds Centre in the east end.

Mayor Danny Breen says they’re looking at a couple of options. He says they’re awaiting test results with a decision to be made shortly thereafter.

The Mayor says he’s eager to see the process get started.

They’re continuing with their public consultation on the redevelopment.
