Young Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are being offered the opportunity to learn to become a safe and responsible hunters and anglers through a program offered by the provincial government.
The Department of Fisheries and Land Resources is partnering with the Fishing and Hunting Association to deliver a series of workshops to young people ages 12 to 17.
The workshops will begin at an introductory level and will include instructions on rifle and shotgun skills, archery and angling techniques.
There will also be information provided about wildlife and salmon conservation.
