Bowring Park was the site of a Puppy Party today. Dog owners showed up with pooches of all makes and sizes.
They were there to meet Leeland Hill, a nine-year-old boy battling a terminal brain condition.
Leeland is in province fullfilling his wish to meet his 91-year-old great-grandmother. Today’s Puppy Party was part of his wish that is being fulfilled by the Children’s Wish Foundation.
Leeland says that a black and white setter was his favorite puppy because it reminds him of his favorite Paw Patrol character, Marshall.
Leeland’s Mom was with him today and she shared her favorite part of the event. which was seeing the smile on her son’s face. She sends her thanks to everyone that showed up for making Leeland smile today.
