A taxi operator in Clarenville is speaking out after two of his taxis were vandalized recently.

Jamie Masters, who owns Masters Taxi, says he started the company about a year ago in the Bloomfield area, and that about two weeks ago they started operations in Clarenville.

Within the last week, windows were smashed out of his taxis.

Masters says he doesn’t know who has been vandalizing his vehicles, but he has a message for whoever is responsible.

He says they’re not going to back down, and they have installed cameras in their vehicles to catch whoever is committing the crimes.

Despite the incidents, Masters says the support for his company from Clarenville residents has been nothing but positive.
