Metro police now have more information and photos of a suspect in an armed robbery at the Village Shopping Centre in St. John’s a few weeks ago.

At about 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, somebody robbed a jewelry store, assaulting a clerk in the process.

The man made off with a piece of jewelry and fled on foot. After leaving the mall, the suspect headed toward Columbus Drive.

The man is about 5′ 1″ tall, weighs 140 pounds and has a tan complexion. He has short black hair and a short black goatee. The suspect was wearing black sunglasses, a navy winter jacket, dark blue jeans and work boots at the time.
