A driver travelling on the TCH near Foxtrap yesterday was clocked by the RCMP at 156 km/h.
Police say they observed the vehicle shortly before 3 p.m. driving at excessive speeds.
The driver, a 39-year-old woman from Holyrood, was charged under the highway traffic act for driving at more than 51 km/h above the posted speed limit.
As well, she was issued a speeding ticket, had her licence suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.
